MRG and GE Energy Form Alliance to Provide Reliability Services Globally
Agreement enhances organizations’ enterprise delivery capabilities
SOUTHBURY, CT: Management Resources Group, Inc. today announced an exclusive strategic business relationship with GE Energy designed to deliver enterprise reliability services on a global basis. Aimed at the growing ranks of global businesses looking to improve their asset reliability, this alliance will help companies to achieve consistent and sustainable world-class reliability across all plants.
Outdated asset management practices are responsible for industry waste in excess of a trillion dollars annually. MRG has been addressing the sources of waste in North American Industry for two decades and now, together with GE Energy, they will deploy MRG’s comprehensive enterprise solutions to meet the reliability needs of companies across the globe. MRG’s offerings have consistently improved production performance and asset management capabilities, resulting in positive bottom-line results, double-digit Return on Investment and exceptional shareholder value growth.
The move strengthens MRG’s reputation as the industry leader in enterprise solutions, which encompass the process, technology and human dimensions of production organizations. Indicative of their leadership, MRG has compiled methodologies, tools, data and content libraries that provide a springboard to better reliability, and has consolidated them into a comprehensive software program, the Enterprise Reliability Suite (ERS); this unique tool enables plants, divisions and entire companies to leapfrog competitors. As part of this alliance, GE Energy will act as a value-added reseller of the Enterprise Reliability Suite.
Robert S. DiStefano, CEO of MRG notes, “This alliance will provide tremendous benefits to our enterprise customers who are seeking consistent delivery services globally. In addition to extending our geographic reach, the initiative will also increase our services footprint. In addition to a global services organization, GE also brings an outstanding portfolio of condition monitoring services, predictive technologies and change management techniques, which are highly complementary to the services we have historically provided.”
Dan Heintzelman, President of Energy Services for GE Energy, notes, “I can’t think of anything more valuable we can bring to customers than improving their operations while reducing costs. GE’s reliability services offering is designed to deliver exactly that, and our alliance with MRG allows us to deliver these services at a whole new level of scope, quality, and value for customers.”
